- What do you often do in your free time? I often playing game, watch video on youtube and
reading books
- Do you watch TV? If no, why not? If yes, which TV channel do you like best? Why?
Rarely, I prefer to watch video on youtube than watch TV because I can actively watch what I
want.
- Do you read books? If no, why not? If yes, what kinds of books do you like best? Why?
Yes of course. But I like read E-book than book. I love to read books about universe because
there are so many things we don’t know about universe so I think it’s very interested to read.
My neighborhood is located along a road about 200m long with about 20 households attached to
both sides of the road
- What do you like most about it? I like the most in there is the friendly of my neighbor.We have
a very close and intimate relationship with each other since most of the people here are relatives
- Do you plan to live there for a long time? Why/why not? Yes of cousre because that’s the land
that the grandparents left us
Situation: A group of people is planning a trip from Danang to Hanoi. Three means of transport
are suggested: by train, by plane, and by coach. Which means of transport do you think is the
best choice?
In my opinion, I think you should choose trevaling from Da Nang to Hanoi by train. you spent
15 hours but you can enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way from Da Nang to Hanoi. You can
choose to travel by plane but it is too expensive. Traveling by coach is not comfortable and
spending time like taking by train. So, it would be better if you choose to travel by train.

- What is the difference between the kinds of books read by your parents’ generation and those
read by your generation? The diference is writing style. Book read by your parents’generation
may have been more traditional and conversative iterm of themes. Your generation may be more
modern and diverse iterms of themes
- Do you think that governments should support free books for all people? No I don’t think that
because the cost of providing free books would be too high. We have 100 million vietnamese
people and an averages of 10 books per person so the government has to buy at least 1 billions
books. How you can buy such a quantity of books with the state budget? It’s so crazy idea.
- In what way can parents help children develop their interest in reading?
1. Pay attention to what your child is interested in, and encourage him or her to read books
on those subjects.
2. Set aside time to read with your child every day.
3. Set time aside every week for family reading night.
4. Make reading a daily part of life, including reading road signs, recipes and directions out
loud.
5. Provide reading materials in the home that arouse curiosity or extend their child’s natural
interest in the world around them.
6. Encourage and model leisure-time reading in the home.
7. Use targeted praise while reading together to help children develop belief in their own
skills.
8. Build positive reading attitudes by making reading fun and creating special moments for
you to bond with your child.

On my last holiday, I went to doson beach in haiphong. In there I swimming, eat seafood and
take a photo outside of the casino. I prefer to spend my holiday with may family. It's an
opportunity for family members to spend more time together. I love traveling to Japan because I
want to try Japanese food and culture so I will go there someday.

I usually spend 2 hours watching televions every day. My family used to watch our favorite
show, the VTV news, after dinner at 7pm. Because it gives us a lot of information about how the
situation in the country and the world around us has been and is playing out today.
PART 2: SITUATION
Question: If you won the lottery of 1 billion VND, what would you do with the money?
- Buy a new house
- Start a business;
- Deposit the money in the bank.
If i won a lottery of 1 billion VND, there are 3 choice for me: buy a new house, start a
business, deposit the money in the bank. I choose depositing my money in the bank for 2
reasons.
Firstly, when I suddenly have 1 billion VND, I may use it wrongly, it make me and my
family are not happy. So I will spend my money to the bank until I have a true decide for it.
Secondly, when I deposit the money in the bank, it can become more and more every month.
So I will have a comfortable life without worry.
In the other hand, I am living in a beautiful and warm house, so I don’t want to buy a new
house. Moreover, I and my wife both have a good job, so starting a business is not necessary.
In conclusion, it would be better to choose spending the money in the bank than buying a
new house or starting a business because of the above mentioned reasons.

If my father gives me a sum of money as a birthday present, I have 3 choice: Saving up for
future,Buying a laptop for your study, Buying a fashionable smart phone. So i will buy a new
laptop because it is easy to find information, documents and references for my study. I do not
choose to save up for the future or buy a fashionable smart phone because i think they are not
necessary for me.

Yes, of course. I’m a die-hard fan of R&B and pop music. And I’m fond of listening to the
singers of this generation like Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran. Their music is simply the best! I
think the most popular music in my country is bolero because it's easy to listen to and good. Also
part is that it is suitable for many ages. Music has a very good effect on people. Music helps
relieve stress, helps many people sleep, makes many people feel happier.

If I have the right to choose an optional subject to add to the curriculum for secondary students in
my country. I will choose a swimming course because it is good for their health and also to
protect the students from drowning. I do not choose photograph and dancing because in my
opinion they are not suitable for them.
