Sub: Submission of Income tax declaration for selection of tax regime by the Pensioner of
WBSETCL.

In continuation with the earlier circular for submission of tax declaration of pensioner issued by
will be default
no: TB/2022/01 Date: 23/02/2022 & as per proposed Finance bill 2023, the new tax regime
regime for all assessee with effect from 01.04.2023 i.e for FY 2023-24. If any assessee wants to assess
himself under old tax regime he has to exercise option for that.

Accordingly all the pensioners are hereby informed that if they want to assess themselves under old tax
regime they have to submit declaration for selecting tax regime within 28" March,2023 positively in
abovementioned
hardcopy or or mail to wbsetcl.pension@gmail.com. Any change in tax regime after the
date willnot be entertained.
The tax declaration format is already available in www.wbsetcl.in, 'Retired Employee login' section.
