BSNL BROADBAND not a best internet service provider, but I can say its very good ignoring few

fluctuations in connection. Im a customer since, 2006 with these plans with the landline telephone connection. HOME 250: From 2006/05 HOME 500: From 2007/12 BBG FN COMBO 600: From 2010/10 Of these plans HOME 600 thats BBG FN COMBO 600 is the best, of many service providers in India this plan is very much better in connection speed and cost as well. And I wish to demystify this plan to you as well. The table with features are with effect from july 2011.

KEY FEATURES Speed

Up to 2 Mbps (thats 0.2 Megabytes per second)

Free Usage
Every day from 2.00 AM to 8.00 AM

Cost
For 2.5 GB alone = 600+10.3% tax

Additional Usage Charges per Megabyte beyond free usage thats beyond 2.5 GB
Excess Rs/MB = 0.20 (thats, 20 paisa per Mega byte. Up to 5 GB, excluding that free 2.5 GB. Thats Totally 7.5 GB) Excess Rs/MB = 0.10 (thats, 10 paisa per Mega byte. Beyond 5 GB, excluding that free 2.5 GB. Thats Totally 7.5 GB)

Usage cost predictions

1. What happens when you use specifically up to 2.5 GB: Rs.600+10.3% tax only. Thats Rs. 661.8/2. What happens when you use beyond 2.5 GB & below 7.5 GB (Say for example, 7 GB): So, you have used 4.5 GB excess, so the calculation: a) 4.5 GB = 4608 MB 4608 X Rs. 0.2 = Rs. 921.60/b) 2.5 GB (free) = Rs. 600/-

Total: Rs.1521.6+10.3% tax = Rs. 1678.32/-

3. What happens when you use richly, beyond 2.5 GB & over 7.5 GB (Say for example, 8 GB): So, you have used 5.5 GB excess, so the calculation: a) 5.5 GB = 5632 MB 5632 X Rs. 0.1 = Rs.563/b) 2.5 GB (free) = Rs. 600/Total: Rs. 1163+10.3% tax = Rs. 1283/-

BE A KING IN MAKING USE OF THE MOST

PART I: USING IN ACCOUNTABLE TIME (thats excluding 2.00 AM to 8.00 AM) 1. Just 2.5 GB. (Postman)

2. 2.5 GB < 7.5 GB (Comedian)

3. 10.5 GB < 8 GB (Student)

4. 10.5 GB < infinity (Google C.E.O) PART II: USING IN NON-ACCOUNTABLE TIME (thats for 5 hours, only between 2.00 AM to 8.00 AM) My Advice, Just use this time for downloading your stuffs via automatic download (for example, Torrents) and also the links that that you have (for example, rapidshare, youtube etc) When you use most of it, thats ''up to'' speed 2 Mb/sec or most of the time ''at'' 2 Mb/sec. you can download: 0.2 MB/sec or 12 MB/min or 720 MB/hr. or approximately you can download 600 MB/hr. So, for 5 hours you can download 3.5 GB or approximately 3 GB (one day at non-accountable time) and similarly if you download for 30 days you could download 90 GB. So, you can download 90 GB freely excluding 2.00 AM to 8.00 AM.

PART III: FOR GOOGLE CHAIRMAN (For those whose who trapped in net) a) NON FREE: Every day for 19 hours (because 5 hours is non-accountable time): 0.2 MB/sec or 12 MB/min or 720 MB/hr. or approximately you can download 600 MB/hr. and for 19 hours you could download 13.3 GB. And similarly if you download for 30 days you could download 390 GB. b) FREE: 90 GB. (Check for calculation in PART II) So, totally you could download 480 GB/month. And the "BILL" will be too long and only BILL GATES could pay them. For those in this category you'll get electricity BILL as a compliment..! And lets all hope for upgraded speed in this same type of plan.
