Sky Blue and the Seven Animals

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there was a beautiful castle. The most beautiful queen
resided in the magnificent castle. The queen only desired happiness and the birth of a handsome baby
boy. Not long after, the good-hearted queen's wish was granted. They named their baby Sky Blue due
to his beautiful and big blue eyes.
As the years passed, the queen became ill and died soon after. After a while, the king remarried
another beautiful but arrogant woman. The queen would ask "Puddle on the floor, who's the most
attractive of them all?" every day as she gazed into her magic pond. "You are the most beautiful one,"
the magical pond would say. The queen would be overjoyed with the answer.
The years passed quickly, and Sky Blue grew into a handsome young man. The queen asked the same
question one day in front of her magical pond. But this time it replied, "I'm sorry, but not you, dear
queen. Sky Blue is the most beautiful of all." The queen was enraged when hearing it. She immediately
summoned her Huntsman and ordered him to behead Sky Blue.
The huntsman led him into the woods, but he didn't want to hurt the young man. He requested that
he flee the castle and the evil queen.
On the way, Sky Blue discovered a small cottage. He opened the door and went inside. It was tiny
and messy. He began cleaning the space. He discovered seven small beds. He curled up on the bed and
fell asleep because he was tired from cleaning. The Seven Animals returned home after their daily
adventure. They noticed Sky Blue dozing off. When he woke up, he told them what had happened in
the castle. The seven animals wished to defend him from the evil queen.
At the same time, things were not going well at the castle. Queen discovered that Sky Blue was still
alive and chose to kill him. She disguised herself as a young and lovely princess to fool the prince with
one of her poisoned pies. Sky Blue took a bite of the pie and passed out. While returning home, the
animals encountered the evil queen disguised as an innocent pretty princess. They chased her to the
top of the mountain. When she reached the mountaintop, she was struck by lightning and fell to her
death.
When the animals returned, they found Sky Blue lying on the ground. They all placed their small
heads on the prince's chest. Sky Blue awoke after they had been there for a while. True friendship was
what broke the curse. They all returned to the massive castle and lived happily ever after.
