This is to note that plant produ n of all nurseries in the DDA has been approximately 7 lakhs previous year, which is more than the actual plantation being done by all the Divisions. It has already been directed that plantation shall be done by utilizing the plant produced in the nurseries. However, on the perusal of es ated it is observed that provisioning of procurement of plants have also been taken into the estimate for the plantation being undertaken ignoring the plant production in the nurseries, Ic is directed that no procurement of any shrubshedge/green cover shall be done from the market henceforth for the purpose of plantation. In case any special variety is required to be procured, the variety may be specifically mentioned in the estimate itself or the same may be brought to the notice of the Director in writing by the respective DD.
