HRCOS82 Updates on Assignment

This module has two assignments which includes a portfolio which will be submitted as Assignment
4. The final mark for this module is calculated from your year mark and exam mark. The year mark
contributes 30% to the final mark and the final portfolio the remaining 70%. The first assignment which
supposed to MOOC is not available anymore. Therefore, there existed Assignments 2 and 3 which
contributes 50% each to the year mark.
Year Mark = Assignment 1 (MOOC) (NOT AVAILABLE) + Assignment 2 (50%) + Assignment 3
(50%) = 100%
Final Mark (100%) = Year Mark (30%) + Exam Mark (Portfolio) (70%)
You will therefore not write an examination at the end of the academic year.

More information regarding HRCOS82 for 2023

HRCOS82 has a weight of 36 credits (equalling 3 honours modules).
Students will do three formative assessments.

• Assignment 1: Unisa MOOC (NOT AVAILABLE) NO MARKS.

• Assignment 2: Typically, the research proposal

• Assignment 3: Typically, the research methodology

• Assignment 4: Summative, presenting the final research project, including results,

analysis and discussion.
The second and third assignments are set by the project leaders while the final research
portfolio (Assignment 4) presents the entire research project.
