INTRODUCTION

Education is a valuable tool for achieving upward social mobility and avoiding
downward social mobility. High-quality schools are generally regarded as important
means to reach high education attainment. According to some studies, high quality
schools typically have more abundant material resources, more skilled faculty, or better
students and thus their exceptional performance is attributed to an unequal distribution
of educational resources or enrollment policies rather than school effectiveness itself. As
our society continues to educationalize the welfare state, we increasingly rely on schools
to help alleviate the ravages of concentrated poverty and racial discrimination, putting
less pressure on the State to develop social policies that address inequalities more
directly. For under resourced schools to even begin to address such as challenge,
significant investment is required to build sustainable schools that meet the diverse
needs of low-income students and communities. One clear example is the expansion of
the community school strategy, which calls on teachers, families, and school staff to take
on new and more challenging roles in order to address existing educational inequalities
collaboratively. For example, increased family and community involvement in schools
can assist in incorporating the rich resources of community knowledge and experience,
both in the classroom and in making school-elated plans and decisions. Working
together, school and community stakeholders can create learning opportunities and
provide access to services that support student learning and development. Schools are
uniquely positioned to use what know from learning sciences and education research to
develop integrated supports that help students arrive to class more prepared to learn,
hands-on and innovative teaching and learning opportunities to deepen and extend
learning and sustainable workplace conditions to promote teacher satisfaction and
retention. By integrating members into the classroom, creating learning spaces outside
of the classroom, and aligning schools and community resources, schools can begin to
address opportunity gaps. This can help to enrich classroom experiences by making the
curriculum more relevant to students lives and supporting students and communities
outside of the classroom.

Statement of the Problem

This study is conducted to propose a “School for Filipino Kids on 2050” which aims to
answer the following:
1. How will a school look in the year 2050?
2. What learning modality will be used in the future?
3. What are the areas to be included in a school in the future?
4. What will be the technological advancement in schooling will be used?

Design Objectives
The project aims to provide an advance approach in implementing design applications
and education system relating to establish a futuristic school. The following objectives
include provident considerations and goals to be accomplished:
1. To design a structure with spaces that will provide a better learning environment and
have various learning modalities.
2. To take maximum advantage of the site for proper orientation, natural lighting and
ventilation.
3. To incorporate material with a connection to technology that can provide for the
reduction of damage due to disasters while also ensuring a pleasant and safe
environment.
4. To provide a school-home-play environment to sustain and enliven people's
interaction.
5. To achieve a good quality design, consider the factors when creating a design
project.

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE

It is critical to recognize that a human being's entire existence is frequently based

on the amount of knowledge he or she acquires, as well as how much this knowledge is used to
develop himself, his country, and the world at large. This explains why there is a need for
education. The primary benefit of education is knowledge. An effective school "achieves the
comprehensive development of each and every one of its students, greater than would have
been expected when considering their previous performance and their families' social.
As argued by Osaki (2000), The highest function of education is to produce an
integrated individual who can deal with life as a whole; graduates in an educational institution
need to be supported in such a way that they can be able to bring ways of dealing with
challenges in their lives," an Indian scholar added.
Education is viewed as a production function and an industry because it
produces goods and services that are very important for the benefit of wellbeing, there is a need
for all educational stakeholders to ensure that their schools provide quality education to the best
of their ability so that graduates who complete are instilled with a kind of innovative and
competences that will not only foster their individual traits but to the entire global. An education
that aims to mold graduates into future working citizens contributes little to educational
objectives because education should not prepare people for the sake of work but rather cultivate
each child's moral, emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions.
According to Van Meighem et al., (2018), improving student academic
performance has been focused on three main components: personal characteristics or
individual factors (such as intelligence), contextual factors or educational environment
improvement (such as school improvement), and factors related to one's self-beliefs, self-
understanding, and the environment (such as responsibilities, mentality, and personal
experiences.
Students are exposed to a variety of activities while at school, including family,
friends, schoolwork, leisure, and the school-home environment. These activities can have a
positive or negative impact on students' academic performance. As a result, a student's
academic performance is the result of a combination of psychological, socioeconomic, and
environmental factors. The current study is an attempt to investigate the factors that influence
student academic performance. The impact of learning theories such as habituation, operant
conditioning, and social cognitive theory on student academic performance will also be
investigated. Furthermore, the research paper will attempt to investigate ways to improve
student learning while on campus. An individual's ability to effectively deal with stressful
situations or events has a significant impact on their stress levels. A romantic relationship can
thus alleviate environmental stress. Sensitivity, responsiveness, trust, and commitment are all
required in an intimate relationship. A student must also attempt to maintain academic balance.

According to Karrera et al., (2019), emphasize the value of using teaching

strategies such as project work to improve academic performance in primary school Likewise,
the relationship between access to and use of information and communication technologies and
academic performance has been thoroughly researched. Several studies show an increase in
academic performance in schools that use these technologies.
Effective teachers in the twenty-first century must employ a variety of teaching
strategies to meet the diverse needs of their students. As educators, we must recognize that
every student learns differently, and it is our responsibility to implement various strategies to
meet the needs of the students. When planning an effective lesson, a teacher must consider the
various needs of the students and recognize that students have different learning styles such as
visual learners, tactile learners, and auditory learners. As a result, it is critical for all educators to
use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with learning disabilities. In
implementing most differentiated teaching strategies,
it is important that the students have a means of knowing what is expected of them. This is most
often implemented through the “posting of clear, concise, and positively phrased classroom
rules that serve as a visual reminder for students” This can also be accomplished through verbal
communication with the students, giving them the opportunity to express how they feel and think
about specific situations. Another method that can be used in teaching strategies is timeline and
verification checks. This allows the educator to keep track of the student's productivity level. The
power of oral explanations and demonstrations is also extremely valuable. The educator should
use oral explanations and demonstrations "to facilitate the completion of a high quality work”.

ARCHITECTURAL PROGRAMMING
DESIGN CONCEPT
Major Concept
Cavite is known as the "Land of the Brave" of the Philippines. It is historically known to be one
of the provinces that battled for the Philippine Independence, with many landmarks in the
province which used to be historical battle sites. This is one of the closest provinces to Manila,
many people looking for opportunities in the Metropolis move to Cavite when Manila is crowded
and looking for spaces for real estate to settle. The reason the population in Cavite increased is
greatly influenced by traditions and culture. Different cultures being molded into one fabric,
which now becomes the identity of the people and the province itself. The resilience of the
Caviteño that comes naturally as if born to stand up and fight to survive.
Being brave is more of a reflex action, a reaction to the struggles and fights weathered and
thrived. There is bravery in taking a step when the situation calls for it. Each person should
know to take steps to move forward without being stocked. The words brave and steps are
necessary to attain the goal of acquiring good design and technological innovation.

Minor Concept
The proposed school concept will be guided based on "Interactive Architecture". It is an
approach to satisfy the increasingly complex demand of architectural performance. The
opportunities for creating these moments in spaces are endless and experiment with light
simulations, mobile form, and even environmental responses. Forms can also be designed to
move in response to human or environmental activity perhaps a wall expands and contracts
when touched or even ripples as a breeze blows. Some exterior facades have been designed to
expose or shade a glazed envelope which can increase building efficiency and lower energy
usage. Opportunities are endless and as modern day technology continues to advance
interactive architecture increases its response and impact on human body as well as the
surrounding environmental characteristics.
Form
The Filipino School is intended to target young students who are beginners with little
knowledge. The bravery and courage to take steps will help them to be resilient, learn, and
survive. Bravery and steps represent showing courage, and knowledge will develop.

Function
The proposed Filipino School for 2050 was planned to play a central role in advancing the
education of infants and children through an advanced education system that fosters intellectual
development. Creating good facilities for modern systems that are designed with function,
utilities, space relationships, circulation, and structural strength. This project aimed to create a
pleasant and comfortable environment for children's school experiences. Designing a school
that adheres to guidelines and constraints in order to create fully functional plans and designs.

Time
Time will be taken into consideration in order to build a well-planned school that embraces
changes in building technology and people's culture. Modern and innovative construction
techniques will be essential in creating a futuristic school that will progress continuously and last
for a long time
