20 cm wide band) over the crop rows upto 10 days after sowing followed
by one hoeing/interculture of inter-row spaces at 15 to 30 days after
sowing. Alternatively, spray Laudis 420 SC (tembotrione) @ 105 m
ac in 150 litres of water at 20 days after sowing for effective controi of
grass, broadleaf and sedges. If there is infestation of sedges (like an
gandi wala motha) and broadleaf weeds only, apply 2,4-D amine lt

after sowing, or spray Gramoxone 24 SL (paraquat) @ 500 ml/ac. The
directed spray can be done by using a protective hood. Paraquat is a
non-selective herbicide and can cause injury to the crop if it falls
on the crop leaves.

MOONG
Give one to two hoeings at four and six weeks after sowing.

MASH
Give one hoeing at 30 days after sowing.

GROUNDNUT
Give two hoeings at 3 and 6 weeks after sowing.

SESAMUM
Give one hoeing at 3 weeks after soWing.

In wheat intercropped sugarcane, for control of gulli danda, spray

litres of water at 30 to 35 days after sowing. If there is problem of button
weed, spray Aim/Affinity 40 DF (carfentrazone ethyl)@20 g/acin200
litres of water at 25 to 30 days after wheat sowing. For control of mixed
infestation of grass (gulli danda and wild oats) and broadleaf weeds,
spray Total/Markpower 75 WG (sulfosulfuron + metsulfuron) 16 g
