Standards Required Lobby Posters The following is required in each lobby, visible
to the guest: Diversity Poster
Brand Standards Complimentary Coffee
(See Brand Standard: M6.1.09 and M6.7.01.5.2)
Check for the presence of the following on the day of the evaluation:
The Property must offer the Brand-approved complimentary coffee station available
to all guests in the
Front Desk/Lobby area, at a minimum from 6AM to 10AM local time every day. The
coffee station area
must:
- Serve freshly brewed coffee (caffeinated and decaffeinated)* and hot water
- Must be sufficiently stocked with:
- Sugar & Sugar substitute(s)
- Creamer
- Disposable non-Styrofoam cups of 8 oz. or greater w/matching lids
- Disposable non-plastic drink stirrers
- Have a trash receptacles/Waste basket placed next to the coffee station.
*Instant decaf and optional teabags are acceptable so long as hot water is readily
available.
Complimentary coffee is to be dispensed via commercial grade air pots or a plumbed
direct-dispensing
machine. Pour- over brewers are prohibited from being placed in the Front
Desk/Lobby area unless directly
plumbed. Glass or stainless-steel coffee pots/carafes are not permitted. Outside of
the property’s
complimentary coffee hours, all coffee station items must be stored out of sight.

offers coffee at times
outside of 6AM-10AM local time.
