HEADQUARTERS * PAKISTAN CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY Terminal-1 JIAP, Karachi-75200 Tel: (92-21) 9924-2031 Fax: (92-21) 9924-2032 dairtransport@caapakistan.com.pk hotel Ref: HOCAA/1089/501/ATNR August 03,2021 IMPLEMENTATION OF REVISED STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES FOR INTERNATIONAL INBOUND TRAVEL TO PAKISTAN Reference is made to our letter of even number dated May 05, 2021 mandating Standard Operating Procedures for International Inbound Flight Operations to Pakistan. 2. _Inview of the recent surge in COVID-19 cases across the globe, it has, been desired by the Competent Authority that with effect from August 09, 2021, the following stipulations will be mandated for International Inbound passengers travelling to Pakistan: * All inbound passengers of age 6 years and above will be required to possess a valid negative PCR Test Result conducted within the 72 hours prior to commencement of travel to Pakistan * Allarriving passengers of age 6 years and abovewill be tested through Rapid Antigen Testing upon arrival in Pakistan * Positive testing passengers between age of 6 and 12 years will be Home Quarantined under the supervision of concerned Civil Administration and + Positive testing passengers above 12 years of age will be Quarantined at a designated facility as per procedure already in-vogue. 3. Considering the volatile nature of the COVID-19 situation, any or all arriving passengers may also be subjected to additional stipulations as mandated by the relevant Health Authorities upon arrival in Pakistan Furthermore, COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures for IntemationalInbound Passenger, Chartered and Private Aircraft Flights stand amended to the above extent only with effect from August 09, 2021. 4.
