General finance Commission Meeting

“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your
prayers for all believers everywhere.” Ephesians 6:18

In the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
We the sisters of the Cross of Chavanod, the beloved daughters of Fr. Peter
Mermier and Mother Claudine Echernier are united as one body, mind and spirit for this
virtual meeting from far and wide to analyse the reality of life according to the socio-
political level of the world especially based on our country India. We need the divine
presence to be in our midst in order to make this gathering very effective and be oriented
to the teachings. Therefore, lets invoke the Holy spirit to be our inspirer all throughout
our learning as we listen to the hymn being played.

Jesus the master of every factor of life, we thank you for every member
gathered here. We thank you for each mind and heart that fills the presence of this
virtual screen. We thank you for the very person of Fr. Alexis Ganapragasam, SJ, who is
very relevant resource person to highlight the current scenario of political and economic
situation and to alert us to be authentic and accurate in our administration of all level
according to the civil law. Bless him and his personal efforts that he undertook to compile
and to enlighten many like us to be on the right track.
Dear Lord, You truly know what we are setting out to accomplish today. We
have an idea, a vision, hints, and daily instructions. We have talents, abilities, and time to
work. However, only You can see in perfect detail the end of every beginning, every
project, every season and every life. Nothing is ever in vain, for even mistakes and
missteps are used for good. Bless our congregation and the general finance commission
members who are taking keen interest to align with the general and her team’s agenda
and make every member very much updated and keep our registered societies in
functional mode.

Heavenly Father, bless all of us with your guidance, wisdom, and support. Help us
to engage in meaningful discussion; allow us to grow closer to one another and nurture
the bonds of community in order to accomplish your divine mission. Continue to remind
us that all that we do here today, all that we accomplish, is for the pursuit of truth for the
greater glory of You, and for the service of humanity. We make this prayer through Christ
your son and the Holy Spirit. Amen
