Inferno by Dan Brown:

Inferno is a novel authored by Dan brown. It is the fourth of the Robert Langdon Series. Robert
Langdon, the protagonist who is a professor at the Harvard wakes up in a hospital in Florence with
no idea of how he landed up here. His memory of the past two days has been lashed out leaving
him in a gruesome state with a bullet in his head and uneasy horrifying hallucinations . He hooks up
with Dr. Sienna Brooks, who had helped him from the agent in his pursuit. They together embark on
the pursuit of the reason behind the hallucinations haunting Robert Langdon. The story is beset with
twists and turns, Robert tries to contact the consulate and ends up being chased by an entire brigade
of trained and armed professionals. They find the digital projection of Botticelli’s Map of Hell
inspired from Dante’s inferno. With no memory of how this eccentric object landed on his Harris –
Tweed coat, Robert and Sienna set themselves in pursuit of something which they aren’t aware of. It
is definitely an amazing read and never fails to keep you engaged throughout. Although we may
seem to predict the next happening, we realize that Dan Brown has another plan and the story
unfolds in a different direction, which makes it stand apart.
