De/Anti Icing

The no spray area is to be cleared manually without deicing fluid and anti-icing fluid
must not be applied.

Hot air used for deicing must not be hotter than 93’C
Minimum spray distance for deicing 2.4m.
Anti-icing fluid type 1 preferred.
If thickened is needed, prefer type, and MUST be preceded by de-icing.
If type 2 or 4 used, VR must not be less than 100kts.
