understood by, and strictly adhered to by all trainees, regardless of employment status.

The performance and behavioral standards established on this document are applicable to all associates

the associate’s employment status, taking into consideration applicable Labor Code provisions.

Guidelines

ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY

Everyone in the Company makes an important contribution, and most jobs must be coordinated with the
schedules and responsibilities of other Associates. The Company requires the Associate’s regular
attendance and timely arrival at work.
If it is necessary to miss a day of work or to be late, it is the Associate’s responsibility to follow and strictly
comply with the Company’s process for unplanned absences or lateness call-in procedures.

To measure the hours required in the Training Program, we will measure the loss hours from
tardiness, under time, over breaks and absence. This metric has no relations to the Employee
Discipline.

pg. 1
Total Minimum
Training
Phase Training Requirement
Duration
Hours (95%)
Pre - Process Training 8 hrs x 24 days 192 hours 182 hours
Process Training 8 hrs x 20 days 160 hours 152 hours

Note that loss hours will be computed based on the hours missed by the trainee, regardless of
the reason and validation. For the purpose of this agreement, only those officially declared by
the business as cancellation of training class will be considered. The same will be the treatment
for force majeure.

Employees who are unable to meet their employment obligations of consistent and reasonable
attendance and punctuality are subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of
employment.

Trainee Responsibilities:
• An associate who is unable to report for work is required to call the Immediate Supervisor’s
mobile phone at least two hours before the shift.
• No other representatives are allowed to call on behalf of the associate, except in cases of
emergency.
• Absence shall be supported by the necessary documents such as but not limited to doctor’s
certificate, police report, barangay certification, etc. (Substantive requirement)
• Failure to abide by the procedural and substantive requirements shall mean tagging of the
absence as unauthorized and therefore subject to disciplinary action.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Immediate Supervisors shall contact the trainee who failed to report for work within the first
sixty (60) minutes of the shift.
• Supervisors may exercise the prerogative to request the conduct of a home visit.
• Immediate Supervisors should report all absences to Legato Training, RA, Human Resources,
and to Operations.

PUNCTUALITY

• Employees will be considered late when they enter their assigned training room past the
designated official schedule. No grace period shall be given.
• Training attendance and punctuality shall be based on attendance sheets. Such information
maybe be cross-referenced with other available information (door access, system log-ins,
etc.)
• Tardiness shall be subject to payroll deduction.

NO CALL/NO SHOW (NCNS) OR UNAUTHORIZED ABSENCE

No Call, No Show (NCNS) is defined as incurring an unauthorized absence without notification. One instance
of NCNS in Training may lead to termination of your employment due to failure to meet training standards.

UNAUTHORIZED ABSENCE

Incidence of absence is subject to disciplinary action up to termination. Each case shall be investigated to
determine if the reason for absence is valid, and if the trainee has the capability to catch up despite
missed training.
pg. 2
Medical Certification and Fit to Work

In case of illness or injury, all Associates must provide a medical certificate from an accredited physician
dated within 24 actual hours (i.e., 1 calendar day) or the same date of the employee’s absence. A medical
certificate that is not obtained on the date of the incident may result to unexcused absence.
An Associate returning to work after a sickness or injury must present a fit-to-work document or
certification to the Clinic team indicating all days out due to sickness. The said document will be validated
by the Clinic team.
