Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) is a non-Governmental Organi-
zation (NGO) that focuses on all instruments regarding development
and empowerment of the youth to prepare excellent future leaders
by promoting strong identity and character and also providing noble
values for the youth.
In order to achieve consistency in building the youth character,
YBB continues to create various innovations in youth activities. YBB
has been actively holding international conferences attended by the
youth from around the world since 2017.
The focus of YBB on the Middle East Youth Summit (MEYS) 2023
program is to transfer ideas, knowledge and urgency to young
people regarding the Muslim community development with its chal-
lenges at this current period. It is undeniable that we need to empow-
er Muslim youth leaders to prepare for a better future. Through this
program, we will learn about the design of community development
strategies that can be implemented as a form of preparation for a
better generation. Not only that, but the selected youths will also
learn many things from various countries' perspectives, which will
greatly help strengthen networks around the world.

Middle East Youth Summit

Middle East Youth Summit (MEYS) 2023 is a program initiated by Youth Break
the Boundaries (YBB). The aim of the activity is to build the spirit of youth leader-
ship and prepare excellent future leaders, by using a moral based approach to ed-
ucation that focuses on instilling nationalism, character values and international
culture for the muslim youth generation. The Middle East Youth Summit is not just
a gathering of young leaders from around the world but also sharing their experi-
ences on how they are taking actions in their communities to protect and empow-
er youth in building the nation.
YBB is an organization that focuses on all instruments regarding develop-

In order to achieve consistency in building the youth character, YBB con-
tinues to create various innovations in youth activities. Since 2017, YBB has held
many International Youth Summits in many countries such as Turkey, and Malaysia.
This year we are initiating the program in Saudi Arabia.

community development with its challenges at this current period. It is undeniable
that we need to empower Muslim youth leaders to prepare for a better future.
Through this program, we will learn about the design of community development
strategies that can be implemented as a form of preparation for a better genera-
tion. Not only that, but the selected youths will also learn many things from various
countries' perspectives, which will greatly help strengthen networks around the
world.
In this program, we sincerely hope that the delegates of the Middle East
Youth Summit (MEYS) 2023 can benefit as much as they can afford. It is not only a
matter of knowledge but also network relationships and building the existence of
youth in the international scale which is very important to be applied. So that the
main purpose of this program can be truly achieved and can be one of the instru-
ments to build the nation's progress.

What is the agenda in Middle East Youth Summit?

Middle East Youth Summit 2023 will be held for four days starting from
February 28 to March 03, 2023. The program will consist of international
symposium, leadership camp, Muslim community development, camp fire,
Mecca city tour, worship in the Haram Mosque, and umrah.

What is the goal of Middle East Youth Summit?

Through this program, we will learn to connect the muslim young leaders
from various countries and background, giving spiritual experiences to
muslim young leaders, develop and empower an impactful Muslim commu-

TOEFL / IELTS certification is not required to attend Middle East Youth
Summit 2023.

Note

Saudi Arabia does allows individuals to apply for tourist visas at Saudi
missions abroad.
All applicants must submit the application in person to the embassy /
application center.
An appointment might be required for application submission.
In addition, as of April 2022, the Government of Saudi Arabia
announced that anyone possessing a valid Schengen, US, or UK visa
could perform Umrah without applying for a separate Umrah visa.

Saudi Visa on Arrival requirements

The minimum age of applicants is 18 years old.

Underaged applicants require an individual above 18 years old to act as
their guardian.
When applying, the passport validity must suffice for at least 6 months
at the time of entering Saudi Arabia.
A refund in case of rejection is not possible. Visa fees are
non-refundable
Overstay fees: SAR100 for each day of overstay when the visa expires
without leaving Saudi Arabia.
The religion of the applicant is not relevant.
Countries with bilateral agreements can apply for the visit visa through
e-Visa or visa-on-arrival, or through the consulate visa (USA, UK, South
Korea and Japan).
Documents not required to obtain a visa:
– Return ticket;
– Booking accommodation (only address is required);
– A hard copy of the visa, although a soft copy is advised.
Time taken to issue an e-Visa is 5-30 minutes in most cases.
Visa eligibility pre-checks are conducted by all airlines before boarding
