POLICIES FOR PLACEMENT DRIVES (SESSION 2022-23)

CCPD OBJECTIVE: ONE STUDENT, ONE JOB

1. In case, any student is placed in any company, he/she will be provided

further placement opportunities in other companies, in which the
difference of CTC is Rs. 3.00 LPA or above.
(e.g. If any student has offer with CTC: 5.00 LPA, he/she will be eligible to
participate in further campus drive with CTC>= 5.00 + 3.00 = 8.00 LPA)
2. If any student has received the job offer from any company for internship
cum FTE/PPO (Full Time Employment/Pre Placement Offer), he/she MUST
have to join that company for internship as per schedule given by the
company and he/she will be immediately blocked from all further ON
campus drives after the said joining date.
(But these students will be eligible for all the OFF campus drives as
defined in point no. 12)
3. If any student has received the job offer from any company, he/she will be
immediately blocked from all ongoing parallel campus drives.
4. Any hiring process will be considered as ON CAMPUS DRIVE, if the
information regarding that has been disseminated by CCPD office to all
eligible students, whether the campus drive is in our premises, at
company’s office or at any other college. In all cases, the participating
students have to be abide by the placement policies of CCPD office.
(In case, any student received a job offer from any company through
his/her own efforts, but seeking Attendance/Bonafide Letter from CCPD
office; that process will also be treated as ON CAMPUS DRIVE)
5. Students from CORE streams (ECE, EN, ME & Civil) will have choice of
getting offer(s) in IT or CORE companies as per their choice.
(After getting any offer (in IT or CORE company), the selected students will
have to abide by the placement policies defined here)
6. Students, violating any of the aforesaid regulations or indulging in any act of
indiscipline/ misbehavior, will be debarred from availing placement facilities
through CCPD office and the matter may be reported to the College
Management for appropriate disciplinary action.
(In exceptional cases, current offer (if any) of that student will also be
cancelled; based on the gravity of offense).
7. If any campus hiring process has any kind of salary package range, lower
salary package will be considered.
(e.g. If salary range is 5.00 LPA to 8.00 LPA, 5.00 LPA will be considered)
8. The CCPD office has all the rights to change/modify any of above-
mentioned placement policies as per need/demand of the time/situation.

 (Any change/modification in above mentioned placement policies can be
done by the CCPD office, depending upon the situation at that point of
time)
9. Any student with offer(s) of non-technical profiles (e.g. Business
Development, Sales & Marketing, Content Development, etc.) will get
opportunities in further campus drives with technical profiles.
(However, this point won’t be applicable for MBA students and other
students, placed with the Technical Sales profiles)
10.If any registered student (for any particular campus drive), due to some
genuine reason, can’t appear for that particular campus drive; he/she MUST
inform the concerned CCPD official; a day prior to that campus drive.
(Failing to follow the above mentioned process, the student will be
debarred; initially from 3 consecutive campus drives and further repetition
will lead to permanent debarment from all further campus drives)
11.All communications, related to any particular campus drive, should be done
with the concerned CCPD official, not with anyone else (as mentioned at
the end of the mail as signature).
12.OFF Campus drives are defined as per followings:
a. Process at PAN India Level: Any campus drive, where the company is
organizing campus drive at PAN India level, will be open for all
placed/non-placed students.
b. Process through third party: Any campus drive, which is being organised
by any third party, will be open for all placed/non-placed students. e.g.
CoCubes, Aspiring Minds (SHL), UIIC (AKTU), etc.
(However, kindly note that the students who will be placed through
campus drives under the above-mentioned categories will be allowed
in further campus drives through CCPD, ABESEC as per the defined
placement policies.)
