ANONYMOUS DATA COLLECTION

If you want to help us making PVsyst more efficient and easier to use, you can accept to share
some anonymous data about how you are using it.

Sharing such data will help us fix issues quicker, improve our tools to match the real needs, and
adapt to our users behavior and system configurations.

PVsyst will collect the following information:

 If an exception occurs in PVsyst

 Which version of PVsyst is running
 Which operating system PVsyst is running on, and on which screen resolution
 Which language PVsyst is used in
 How long PVsyst has been running
 Data about simulations performed : kind of project (grid-connected, standalone, pumping),
duration, enabled features (horizon, Module Layout, etc), system power and nothing more
 Basic hardware information when a crash happens

PVsyst will never collect the following information :

 Any sensitive information about your PVsyst projects: name, location, components, economic
data, results, reports
 Your username, IP address or any personal, sensitive or confidential information

Data is transferred through a secured SSL protocol from PVsyst software to our secured server,
thus protecting its privacy and integrity. Data transfer might induce additional costs depending on
how the computer is accessing the internet.
You can turn this setting on or off under the Data collection tab in the PVsyst preferences.
