It is the national museum and art gallery of
Papua New Guinea. It focuses on traditional
Papuan art, contemporary production, and
objects related to the New Guinea Campaign
during the Pacific War.

The city is located on the

shores of the Gulf of Papua, on

CURRENCY
The Kina is the official currency of Papua New
Guinea. It is divided into a hundred toea. The
Kina was issued on 19 April 1975, replacing the
Australian Dollar. Now, you can no longer use
dollars as a currency in Port Moresby.
