LTC Chan Kim Yin is currently the Head of Leadership Doctrine and Research at the Centre of
Leadership Development in SAFTI Military Institute. He is an infantry officer by training, and has
held command appointments at the platoon and company levels. He received his Bachelor of
Sciences in Psychology from the University of London in 1988, and graduated with a Ph.D. in
Industrial-Organisational Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1999.

CPT Psalm Lew Boon Cou presently holds the appointment of Staff Officer (Army) for Leadership
Training and Curriculum at the Centre of Leadership Development in SAFTI Military Institute. CPT
