Introducción
El activismo de mujeres en Latinoamérica tuvo lugar alrededor de
movimientos guerrilleros, sindicatos y comités de amas de casa, un contexto
que Potthast denomina “movimientos de sobrevivencia”. Los objetivos eran la
lucha contra la violación de los derechos humanos y la violencia, y contra la
explotación y pobreza.
El feminismo es un movimiento político, social, académico, económico y
cultural, que busca crear conciencia y condiciones para transformar las
relaciones sociales, lograr la igualdad entre las personas, y eliminar cualquier
forma de discriminación o violencia contra las mujeres.
Women's activism in Latin America took place around guerrilla movements,
unions, and housewives committees, a context that Potthast calls “survival
movements.” The objectives were the fight against the violation of human
rights and violence, and against exploitation and poverty.
Feminism is a political, social, academic, economic and cultural movement that
seeks to create awareness and conditions to transform social relations,
achieve equality between people, and eliminate any form of discrimination or
violence against women.

Conclusión
El feminismo aporta al conjunto de la sociedad un prisma singular desde el que
analizar y ver el mundo, porque las mujeres constituidas en sujetos activos
cuestionan e interrogan a la sociedad y a ellas mismas sobre lo que son, lo que
hacen, sobre la organización social y el mundo que les rodea.
Las feministas están marcando el paso a los gobiernos de México, Chile,
Argentina, en ocasiones con la ayuda de los propios mandatarios, cuyas
torpezas han engordado en los últimos meses el enfado y el activismo.
Me parece muy interesante e impresionante como todo un grupo de mujeres
se reúnen para hacer una marcha en donde todas protestan con un mismo fin,
defender sus derechos, defender el respeto e igualdad que nos merecemos.
Feminism provides society as a whole with a singular prism from which to
analyze and see the world, because women, constituted as active subjects,
question and interrogate society and themselves about what they are, what
they do, about the social organization and the world around them.
Feminists are setting the pace for the governments of Mexico, Chile,
Argentina, sometimes with the help of the leaders themselves, whose
clumsiness has fueled anger and activism in recent months.
I find it very interesting and impressive how a whole group of women gather
to make a march where they all protest with the same goal, to defend their
rights, to defend the respect and equality that we deserve.
