RC ELASTOMERIC WATERPROOFING COMPOUND adheres well to dry surfaces of metals, concrete, wood and flush-jointed masonry. The degree of adhesion increases steadily. Sealing properties do not change, even when the product is expased to temperature of -20°C and 100°C, or when subjected to ultra violet radiation at the same time. FC ELASTOMERIC WATERPROOFING COMPOUND coating has anexcellentlong-term ageing stability, has above average wealher- proof qualities and a high resistance to ultra violet radiation. The frost striking property ofthis waterproofing product is the high expansion and contraction of the coating and the ability to safely bridge surfaces subject to hailine cracking. USES RC ELASTOMERIC WATERPROOFING COMPOUND is used for the waterproofing of concrete deck roofs, bathrooms, walls, base- ments, water tanks and other structures made of metal, wood, plas- ties, etc. Itis also used as a moisture barrier in ce storage plants, ‘as underbady coating for cars and as a sound deadening material. DIRECTIONS FOR USE 1. SUBE ‘The surface must be completly sound to ‘SUBEACE PREPARATION, insure proper bond. It ust be clean and dry. Remove os, pats, it ‘and other foreign matters using sel brush. Ater cleaning, sea all tracks and construction joints using RC ELASTOMERIC JOINT SEALER (PUTTY CONSISTENCY). 2. ABPLIGATION, Prime surface using 4:1 by volume of RC EWC to RG-EWC REDUCER at a coverage of 20 aq, meters per gallon. Stir Undiluted AC EWC (Drushable consistency) before using. Apply C-EWC by brush, roll, or sprayer. Continue repeating the appica- tion fom the fist coat unl the desirod thickness is attained. When the leat coat is already dy, the elastomeric waterprooting sheet coat formed can als be painted, I'desired, with quick drying enamel pints 3. COVERAGE. For computational purposes, one (1) galon of RC ELAS- ‘TOMERIC WATERPROOFING COMPOUND vill cover approximatoly 6 sq. melors witha thickness of 10 mils (equivalent to 3 coats). 4. DBYING TIME. Under average condiion a period of atleast 210 S hours ‘shouldbe allowed between each coat.
