Actually, I would rather do my lessons in my study, which provides me with both comfort and
learning atmosphere, since the things, such as all the books, my laptop and teaching materials, are
there.

It’s a pity that the library of your school is in such a bad condition and the books are also out of-
fashion.
In my opinion, this library should be reconstructed and provided with the latest versions of
publications and textbooks.

Hi, Tom. How are you? In my opinion, this sort of teacher may prefer traditional teaching, but as a
modern English teacher, I usually apply both textbooks and additional internet materials in order
to equip young learners with the latest content.
I PEFER TO CREATE ALL THE MATERIALS BY MYSELF FOR THE LESSONS. WHAT ABOUT YOU?
What a forward –thinking person you are. As for me, it depends on the situation, for instance, I
make a number of visual aids and handouts if I have enough time. However, it is better for me to
rely on ready –made materials when I’m in a hurry.

Dear Club secretary,

I am writing in response to your previous email on the matter of motivating people for becoming
teachers .
Thanks a lot for the initiative of organizing such kind of club which can allow both to exchange
ideas , experience and to survey members’ opinions.
When it comes to my personal perspective, I have a number of suggestions which might be
absolutely helpful.
Firstly, I believe that teachers’ financial and social status should be raised on the grounds that low
salary cannot meet all their daily needs. If they are socially and financially secure, they can fully
devote themselves to their profession and this is a contributing factor to attract them to this field.
Secondly, it would be great if the government reduce the workloads as well as paperwork since
not only long working hours but also non-stop process of documentation can cause them to be
bored and tired.
Finally, having provided the facts above, I hope you will take my proposals into account.
