1 Passport photograph
1.1 TWI CL requires each candidate to provide a passport style photograph in digital format for
BGAS/CSWIP and CSWIP examinations.
1.2 The photograph shall be provided during each enrolment stage (again).
1.2 The candidate is responsible for providing the passport type photograph which must have been
taken within the last 2 years.

2 Photograph composition requirements


2.1 Your photo must be: In your photo you must:
 clear and in focus  not have ‘red eye’
 in colour  be facing forwards and looking straight at the
 include your head, neck and top of shoulders only camera
 contain no other objects or people  have a plain expression and your mouth closed
 prescription glasses are acceptable as long as  have your eyes open and visible
there is no glare  not have hair in front of your eyes
 taken against a plain background  not have a head covering (unless it’s for religious
 in clear contrast to the background or medical reasons)
 not have anything covering your face
 not have any shadows on your face or behind you
 no border-lines around image
 no image filtering is acceptable

2.2 The composition of the photograph shall follow the instructions on Figure 1.

Note: Dimensions mentioned on Figure 1 indicates the image proportion.

3 Technical requirements
3.1 The image shall have ‘portrait orientation’
Note: Portrait orientation means the image shall be oriented with longer edge vertically, correctly oriented (not upside down) when
open on any software, (without need to rotate it).
3.2 Minimum required resolution is 300 DPI
3.3 Digital file shall be of size between 80 kB to 8 MB.
3.4 Digital file format must be JPG.
Note: Compressed documents e.g. *.zip or *.rar and similar are not acceptable.
