Q2. Describe any situation in your own experience where the
communication failed because the listening was faulty. Identify the barrier
to listening in this situation?
ANSWER:
Good listening keeps important role in our life. I have experienced in my
daily life routine sometimes due to faulty communication we can’t easily
understand the talks. Family need good listening to face complicated
stresses together.

BARRIERS OF LISTENING:
Different barriers are there for effective listening. Most people are terrible
listeners.
MISSUNDERSTANDING:
Because of poor listening there will be a lot of misunderstanding for
example, sometimes parents don’t listen to their children because of lack
of time the children will become stubborn. “Don’t worry that your children
never listen to you; worry that they are watching you” so, this statement
tell us about what parent’s do their children are watching and learning
from them different behaviors. So, parent have to take care about demand
they have make their children good listeners. In the teenage their children
will distract the main issues become generate. I thought that parents
should listen to their children for better future.
NOISE:
Noise is the main and worst barrier of the listening because shouting, over
volume of TV, and loud party noise at the neighbor.

PHYSICAL DISABILITIES:
Physical disability is the main cause of poor listening due to which the
communication between people can’t be good because hearing problems
and speech difficulties is the main cause of poor listening. Physical disability
is the worst thing because these people can’t tell about their problem they
can’t share their problems by telling. Dumb people tell their problems by
different signs.

. TheDean of Oxford School of Management Sciences (OSMS), a prestigious
educational institution, has requested the president of takaful insurance
Company limited to accept five final year students as interns during the
summer holidays. As the public relation officer of takaful limited, you have
been directed to write to the Dean stating that it would not be possible to
provide internship facility this year. You may offer any reasons for not
acceding to the Dean’s request. However, your letter should be worded in a
courteous tone as OSMS not only provides substantial business to your
company but also because the Dean wields considerable influence and
respect in the business and professional circles.

It will be so proudful for us to provide internship facilities
to the students of final year from the top most university of our country. I
am so delighted to see your letter for the internship, but so sadly there is
some problem because there is not sufficient facilities for students this
year. We have already many workers working as a participants. So we can’t
provide internship this year to your students.
Therefore, it is not possible this year to provide
internship facilities to your students, hopeful that you can understand our
situation.
