To begin with, the Philippines is known to be a country in the southeast Asia Pacific region that
emerges in economic growth and dynamic development. Along these given, the Philippines is still on its
way to progressively improving being a globally competitive economy. To make such undertakings
possible, the Philippines must enhance its trade and investments involving the international market.
Statements thereof are synonymous with Globalization, which is the integration, involvement, and
influence of operating economic endeavors on an international or worldwide scale. With Globalization,
countless business and diplomatic opportunities await the Philippines that will equate to improving and
establishing its global presence and economic standpoint.

I am convinced that globalization is critical and beneficial to the Philippines' ability to maintain
consistent economic growth and a significant position in the global market. This is because the majority
of the trade and investment tackled by the country include many nations with similar interests as ours,
resulting in mutual economic advantages. For instance, vehicle manufacturing is heavily reliant on the
globalization process. The car's components and technology are sourced from numerous nations that
specialize in it. Through globalization, the Philippines gains leverage to access various resources from
different countries and suppliers while keeping costs low in exchange for labor, primarily OFWs, wherein
the Philippines' economic crisis of unemployment is addressed concurrently with opportunities for the
Philippines to improve international influence, power, and economic stance.

Furthermore, globalization facilitates my access, as an individual, to current technologies.

Without the Philippines collaborating with other nations, our technological progress would be stifled
since there will be fewer resources, alternatives, and the technology itself for local customers to enjoy.
Even without relying on globalization, the Philippines can still have its economy blooming for our
consumers will embrace local production that will increase national income or Gross Domestic Product
(GDP) and employment rates as well since the labor force will be essential in supplying the goods being
demanded by consumers. However, this is not likely to happen since the Philippines still needs to be
reliant on globalization which brings us to its drawback of having our consumers patronize imports over
local products. This approach will leave our Gross National Product (GNP) at stake for locally-made
productions will be less likely demanded in both local and international markets.

To summarize, globalization has both advantages and disadvantages. Primarily, the pros
outweigh the cons for the Philippines' main benefit in adapting to the globalization process is  there are
limitless opportunities that will set our country in a good diplomatic, economic, and generally speaking,
global standpoint that will continuously bring prosperity among Filipinos and the rest of the world. Thus,
explains my position of having Globalization good for the Philippines.
