The complainants while pointing out the mal-administration of the Agency stated that they are underprivileged and destitute ladies, cannot face the current days’ dearness with meagre resources. They are in financial crunch and deserving ladies. They applied to the Ageney to provide financial assistance to cater for the daily needs of livelihood but to no avail, hence, these complaints. wQ 2. As per separate similar reports, it was pleaded by the Agency that the cases of the complainants had been forwarded to the concemed District Officers, Pakistan Baitul Mal vide separate letters dated 06.9.2022 for investigation and assessment of their eligibility to get financial assistance or not. On receipt of verification reports fiom the quarters concemed, if the complainants are found cligible, their cases will be sent to Pakistan Baitul Mal Head Office, Islamabad for approval by the competent authority. After approval, the complainants will be provided financial assistance from PBM subject to availability of district wise allocated funds ye. with intimation to this office. (1)M/2948/22. & 04 others. 3. The hearing was attended by Mr. Shahid Sarwar Assistant Director, Pakistan Baitul Mal, Regional Office, Multan as well as Mr. Abdul Rehman husband of Mst. Aneesa Rehman, complainant, The remaining complainants were contacted on their cell phones and heard. The representative of the Agency reiterated the Ageney’s stance as taken in its report. Relevant record perused. In the said scenario, itis found that the Agency during hearing of the complaint undertook to provide the relief sought. The Agency’ is advised to do the needful and submit separate case wise compliance reports according to its undertaking as early as possible but not later than 30 days. 4. In view of the foregoing, ther invest igation in all the complaints is closed under Regulation 23(1)(4) of the Wafagi Mohtasib (Investigation & Disposal of Complaints) Regulations, 2013.
