CLAIM OF VALUE
- this attempts to persuade you to approve or disapprove in something

EX: Stealing is wrong
CLAIM OF POLICY
-this attempts you or government to take some actions or change to solve problem
-Should can be seen in a sentence
EX: The church should not interfere with the decision of the state or the government
BUSINESS LETTER
-A business letter is a formal way of communicating between two or more parties. Business letters can
be informational, persuasive, motivational, or promotional. Business letters should be typed and
printed out on standard 8.5" x 11" white paper.
BODY - It begins two lines below the salutation. A brief general introduction of who you are, your
main point and purpose in writing. Background information and supporting data of the main point.
Closing paragraph restates the purpose of the letter, establishes good will and call for some kind of
action. The body of the letter should be set single spaced with two lines separating the paragraphs.
COMPLEMENTARY CLOSE OR VALEDICTION – It is a part of the letter that indicates the writer’s
respect and appreciation for the person to whom he is sending the letter. It is placed two lines below
the last line of the body of the letter.
