Life in Crimea is always unpredictable.

Being famous for its hot summers, and not

snowy winters, Crimea is a lovely place to live. But not everything is as rosy as it
seems at first glance. Living in such a place won’t disappoint you, since every time
you’ll explore something new. This is especially true of the weather! For example, in
Crimea it is quite rare to see snow, but not impossible at all!

This winter is an exception to the rules. Snowing this winter is extremely abundant.
There are so much snow here that my eyes can’t believe seeing so much white. The
opportunity to go outside and play snowballs when running away from a flying
projectile is just as wonderful as receiving a present. And what about sledding? Also a
great idea! I was lucky in this regard. I live in a quite hilly area and sledding is great
for all the hills along the street. What could be better than going down a steep hill,
accelerating more and more every second and squinting from the freezing wind
stinging your face. I will never forget this feeling. One day a funny situation
happened to me connected to sledding. It was New Year’s Eve, and my friends and I
agreed to meet at another friend’s house and go sledding. It was late in the evening,
and only the snow sparkled illuminating the road. I went out with a sled, meeting a
friend and we went together to another friend. I don't remember how, but one of us
came up with the idea to drag each other on a sledge. And that was the worst decision
we made that night. It was just my turn, and I quickly got tired pulling the sled up the
hill. I stopped to rest and, turning around to check on my friend, I saw her rolling
down the slope. I was stunned and looked at my laughing friend approaching the
snowdrift. In the blink I ran after her, and together we collapsed into a snowdrift
covered with snow from head to toe. It was unforgettable, and, of course, there was no
talk of any walk anymore. Laughing, we returned home to warm up.
