I. Identify the mood and the figure of the following syllogisms and identify whether they are valid or invalid.
1. All except varsity players are academic scholars.
But some students are varsity players.
Therefore, some students are not academic scholars.

6. All lemons are sour,


But some lemons are yellow fruit,
Therefore, some yellow fruits are sour.

7. All artists are creative person,


But no creative person is stupid,
Therefore, no stupid is an artist.

8. No spider is a fly,
But some insects are flies,
