Network Configuration Using the CLI

In this simulation you will use the CLI to change the IP address of the management
port to be in your LAN IP range.

Review the information at each stage and follow the instructions to advance to the
next step.

Start
You have opened the console of the XG Firewall
Enter the default password admin
Press a to accept the license agreement
Type 1 and press Enter to select Network Configuration
Type 1 and press Enter to select Interface Configuration
Port A (LAN) has the default IPv4 configuration 172.16.16.16/24
Press Enter
Port B (WAN) is configured to use DHCP for IPv4
Press Enter
Type y and press Enter to set the IPv4 address
Type the IP address 192.168.16.1 and press Enter
The subnet mask does not need to be changed for this network
Press Enter
The IP address has been changed and the details for Port B are displayed
Press Enter
IPv6 configuration is not required
Press Enter
Type 0 then press Enter to Exit
Type 0 then press Enter again to Exit
You have completed IPv4 configuration using the CLI
You have completed IPv4 configuration using the CLI
The simulation is complete, you can close this window
