Monks who follow this path aim to reach inhuman speed and reflexes, through channeling the

raw power of nature in its most destructive state. Rumors says a blue dragon is the founder of
the monastic order.

Lightning Technique

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain access to thaumaturgy, guidance
and druidcraft, representing your understanding of the natural forces.

When you attack a creature with your flurry of blows, you can enhance your technique in one of
the following ways, this must be chosen before any attack rolls.

● Lightning Strikes: You can increase the number of unarmed attacks to 3, at 11th level
you can increase the number to 4.
● Shock Strikes: If you hit the same creature twice this turn, it must succeed a
constitution saving throw or be paralyzed until the end of your next turn.
● Thunder Strikes: The damage type of your unarmed strikes become thunder damage.
For each unarmed attack hit, The creature must make a strength Saving throw or be
pushed back 15ft or knocked prone.

Lightning Stance

At 6th level, you gain the ability to cloak yourself in lightning for 1 min or until you dispel it,
granting you enhanced speed and reflexes. You can spend 2 ki points as a bonus action to
enter this instance.

● You gain a bonus to your AC equal to your wisdom modifier (minimum of +1).
● Your speed increases by 10 ft.
● While in this stance, you are under the effect of step of the wind, you choose between
disengage or dash in the beginning of each turn. At 9th level when you use step of the
wind you have a flying speed equal to your current walking speed. This benefit works
only in short bursts; you fall if you end your turn in the air and nothing else is holding you
aloft.

Redirect Lightning

At 11th level, you gain resistance to lightning damage. You can cast Call Lightning or Lightning
Bolt spending 3 ki points and Chain Lightning spending 6 ki points(you can upcast spells using
1ki point per level). If you use your action to cast a spell in this way or in a spell effect as in Call
Lightning, you can use your flurry of blows as if it was part of the spell effect. At 15th level, you
can cast control weather once per long rest.

Aspect of the Lightning

At 17th level, your body and mind achieve the maximum affinity with lightning.

● Your unarmed strikes deal an additional 2d8 Lightning damage.

● You gain a bonus in all saving throws equal your proficiency bonus.
● If a creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to add your
proficiency bonus to your AC until the end of your next turn, potentially causing the
attack to miss you.
