Republic of the Philippines Province of Leyte ‘Municipality of Babatngon Barangay San Isidro Executive Order No.1-18 AN ORDER RE-ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY PEACE AND ORDER COUNCIL (BPOC) WHEREAS, Section 2 of Executive Order No. 366 for the creation of Local Peace & Order Committee in every barangay supplemented by the DILG Memorandum Gircular No. 2002-02 which calls for the strengthening of the Barangay Peace &« Order Committee and by POC Memorandum Circular No. 2002-05 which outlines the guidelines ‘on the operation of BPOCs; ‘THEREFORE, |, Hon. Reydel A. Buena, Punong Barangay of Barangay San Isidro, Babatngon, Leyte by the powers vested in me by laws, do hereby re-organize the Barangay Peace & Order Committee of this Barangay. Section l. Composition: The Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council or the BADAC shall be composed of the following; Chairman: Hon. Reydel A. Buena Punong Barangay Members: Hon. Bienvenido C. Valera Sr. Kagawad, Chairman on Peace & Order Emesto L. Coditan Simeona B. Amistoso Chief Tanod Public School Teacher Carolina C. Enfectana PSI Shenna S. Layog Inter Faith Group Rep. PNP Officer ‘Section Il. Function: The BPOC shall have the following functions; . a 3 4 8. 9% Initiate, coordinate & monitor the implementation of peace and order programs & projects at the barangay level. Serve as info gathering mechanism pertaining to peace and order. Monitor and check the nefarious activities of criminal elements. Supervise the tanods in identifying barangay constituents w/ strong deviant behaviour for referral to appropriate authorities. Maintain continuing dialogue, close coordination & rapport the Municipal Peace & Order & law enforcement units operating the barangay. Formulate plans & recommend measures w/c will improve or enhance peace & order & public safety in the barangay. Supervise, coordinate & monitor the operations of all community based-anti crime activities undertake within the barangay. Undertake periodic assessment of prevailing peace & order situation in the brgy. & submit a report with appropriate recommendations to the MPOC and; Performs such other functions wic may be assigned by higher POCS.
