7. COURSE DESCRIPTION : This course is designed to provide students conceptual knowledge in the practical applications of basic principles of
Taxation as they relate to individual finance and/or business operation.
CLO 1 Understand and discuss the principles of taxation under the TRAIN Law.
CLO2 Apply the basic principles and policies of Philippine Income Tax Law.
CLO3 Classify taxpayers and identify the sources of income in order to determine applicable income tax liability for each taxpayer.
CLO4 Develop a comprehensive understanding of Income Tax in relation to taxpayer and tax base; gross income; deductions from gross income; tax return
