ENGLISH RESUME

MEET THE EXPLORERS


 Understand to review numbers in English (e.g; twenty-one, twenty-two, fifty, fifrty-one, one
hundred, etc) new language of upstairs and downstairs.
 Understand to ‘Good at + -ing’ (e.g; I’m not good at flying a kite, I am good at riding bikes,
I’m good at climbing trees, etc).
 Understand and know about possessive apostrophe (e.g; Ben’s mother; ibunya Ben , Lucy’s
grandmother : neneknya Lucy, Ben’s cousin : sepupunya Ben, Lucy’s parents : Orang tuanya
Lucy, etc).
 Can read and speak English in correct pronunciation.
OUR SCHOOL UNIT 1
 Know about school subjects such as; History means pelajaran sejarah, Geography means
pelajaran Geografi, P.E means pelajaran olahraga, I.T means pelajaran computer, etc.
 Can use ‘before’ and ‘after’ in a simple sentence. (for example; On Monday we have English
and Geography subjects before lunch, on Wednesday we have art and P.E subjects after
lunch, etc).
 Understand and can make a simple sentence by using ‘like and don’t like+ -ing’ ( e.g; I like
listening to music, I don’t like drawing, I like reading comic, She likes swimming, He likes
swimming, She doesn’t like reading book, He doesn’t like playing kite, etc).
 Understand and can make a simple sentence by using ‘Have to+ infinitive’ (e.g; you have to
brush your teeth before you go to bed, you have to arrive at school before nine o’clock, you
have to do your home work before you go to school, etc)
 Know about kinds of music such as; wind instruments, stringed instruments and
percussion instruments

 Understand to new languages in English or new vocabularies in FOOD/DRINKS such as;
rolls mean roti seperti hamburger, lemonade means lemon juice, apple juice, water, soup,
vegetables means sayur-sayuran, salad, etc.
 Can make questions and answers with ‘SOME’ and ‘ANY’ (e.g; Is there any cheese ?, Yes,
there is some cheese, Are there any oranges ? No, there aren’t any oranges, There are some
carrots, there is some roll, is there any apple juice? No, there isn’t any apple juice, etc)
 Can make a ‘SUGGESTION’ by using ‘Should we….? And ‘How about…….?’ (e.g;
Should we make some soup? Good idea!, How about some tea? Nice!, Should we make some
a sandwich ham? Yes, sure, and etc).
 Long vowel sound ie (/ɑɪ/) and short vowel sound i (/ɪ/).
 Can read and speak English in correct pronunciation.
