Here is some guidance for headshots:

Lynn is expert at taking headshots, she has lots of different backgrounds and you will be amazed
how quickly she gets through the shoot, however, she does take her time to build a rapport with
each and every client.

So, with headshots, we want the "money" shot, the main profile pic, followed by a maximum of 4
or 5 others.  Lynn supplies you/us with 24 headshots so it's getting the best look possible out of
those pics to show you off.

 The most important feature of a headshot is the eyes, so we don't want anything to detract
from that, we prefer black as it's a non-descript colour, suits all skin tones and draws the focus
to your face/eyes which is the intention.
 Not all colours come across well on camera so if you are going to choose a different colour,
stick to block colours, no patterns or logos, darker colours if possible. Dark Purple, Dark Blue,
nothing bright like Green/Yellow/Red, otherwise the focus becomes the clothes and not you.
White is an absolute no-no.
 They are looking for the natural look within your face, so a few different neck lines would be
the preferred option.
 For Max, I put his V neck  t-shirt on first, followed by his round neck t'shirt, followed by his
button down collar, put the Polo Neck over that followed by a Hoodie, so as we went through
the shoot, he just took each layer off.
 Try all the clothes on first and see what neckline suits you best, frames your face the best and
put your options together as 1st, 2nd and 3rd etc
 There are only 24 so you want to make sure that you get your favourite options of neckline
with all her backgrounds, inside the studio and outside in her garden
 She will ask you to do different expressions and sit differently for each shot, so we have a few
different expressions to choose from

 Casting always go with who they can see coming across well on camera so the eyes really
should be the focal point followed by hair style
 Aim to look as young as possible.
 If you feel you like the longer hair "lockdown" look stick with it, but remember whatever
hairstyle you choose you are stuck with that until your next set of headshots as you have to
audition looking like your headshot.
 You can always bring some styling products with you to set your hairstyle to suit the neckline
 I would go in product free for the initial shots, bring in hairbands to tie it up, do not do this
first as hair bands can leave marks/bumps in your hair. Then you can style accordingly once
the hair down/hair up shots have been taken
 Just have it all written down what top goes best with what hairstyle and go through the shoot,
almost like a running order, so I think 3 options for each hairstyle is enough.
 Tops that suit best with hair down, 1, 2, 3
 Tops that suit best with hair up, 1, 2 , 3
 Tops that suit best with hair styled 1, 2,3
 No jewellery and very little make up, just enough to cover any blemishes, little mascara etc,
