‘Adam. Bello County Executive EMERGENCY ORDER I, Adam J. Bello, County Executive of the County of Monroe, in accordance with 8 declaration of a State of Emergency issued on May 23, 2023 pursuant to Article 2B, Section 24, ofthe New York State Executive Law, do hereby ORDER: 1. No hotel, motel, shelter, or other multiple-dwelling unit in Monroe County, or any person or comporation acting on behalf of such hotel, motel, shelter, or other multiple dwelling unit, may enter into @ contract with any municipality, corporation, partnership, individual, or any other entity for the purpose of providing ‘emergency housing for more than ten (10) people in Monroe County unless and until such person or corporation has submitted plan detailing how it will provide adequate care and services for those individuals receiving emergency housing to the Monroe County Department of Human Services (an “Emergency Housing Plan”) and such Emergency Housing Plan has been approved by the Monroe County Department of Human Services, 2. The Emergeney Housing Plan must demonstrate 8. That adequate space has been reserve to house the individuals in need of housing throughout the duration of their stay, 'b, That the housing conforms with all applicable local, state, and federal Jaws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to the New York State Uniferm Fite Prevention and Building Code; That there are arrangements in place to provide adequate funding to support the fundamental needs of the individuals being housed throughout the duration of ther stay, including but not limited to food and supplies; 4. That there are arrangements in place to provide adequate services that ‘ill be needed to support the welfare of the individuals being housedthroughout the du other supportive services the individuals require, tion oftheir stay, including medical needs and any 3. The Monroe County Department of Human Services shall review any proposed Emergency Housing Plan and shall only approve su Plan if the criteria set forth in Paragraph 2 ofthis Order are satisfied, Emergency Housing 4. Any Emergency Housing Plan approved by the Monroe County Department of Human Services is subject to review every thity (30) days. In conducting such review, the Monroe County Department of Human Services shall consider the same factors st forth in paragraph 2 ofthis Order, If those factors are no longer satisfied, the Monroe County Department of Human Services shall revoke its approval of the Emergency Housing Plan 5.
