science

The scientific method is the process of objectively establishing facts through testing and
experimentation. The basic process involves making an observation, forming a hypothesis, making a
prediction, conducting an experiment and finally analyzing the results.

Pure science
-pure science is also known as natural science, basic science or fundamental science.
-Pure science is the study of natural phenomena either by observation, experimentation or
use of scientific methods.
-Pure science is often conducted in a lab and is driven by curiosity rather than the need to solve a
specific problem.
- The main objective of pure science is to increase knowledge of a particular field of study and develop
scientific theories.
- Physics, Chemistry, biology and Mathematics(mpcb) are examples of pure science

Applied science
- uses knowledge gained from pure science to solve a specific problem.
- when conducting applied science researchers begin with a specific problem they want tot solve.
- Examples of applied sciences include medical sciences such as medical microbiology and genetic
epidemiology, and formal sciences such as probability theory and statistics.

Technology
-technology is the knowledge and use of humanities tools and techniques.
-application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in the industry.
-it is considered technology is applied science

Technology can be material or immaterial

Material Technology
-Material technology is physical technology with tangible processes and results.

Immaterial Technology
-Immaterial technology is virtual technology referring to such things as computer software, business
methods.

Entrepreneurship generally refers to the creation and growth of new and innovative
businesses based on the ability to recognize business opportunities or combine
resources in novel ways.

Technopreneurship
 Technopreneurship is basically entrepreneurship
 It is a niche of entrepreneurship
 Technopreneurship is technological entrepreneurship which includes
innovations and creativity in technology and their evolution from idea to
"prototype".

 Technopreneurship is a combination between two individual


concepts – technology and entrepreneurship, which lead to
recognition, discovery and even creation of entrepreneurial
opportunities for technological improvements.
