AccelerAged™ EIFS grade polystyrene insulation boards.

Polar Industries is a Connecticut manufacturer of white expanded polystyrene (EPS) and grey graphite
polystyrene (GPS) insulation products. Both are available for exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS)
and are sold under our AccelerAged™ and AccelerAged™ GPS trade names.

AccelerAged™ insulation boards are manufactured to ASTM E2430 or proponent specifications under
quality control procedures administered by RADCO Long Beach CA, a third party inspection agency.
See RADCO Listing 1201.

AccelerAged™ GPS insulation boards are manufactured using BASF Neopor® GPS 5300 Plus series
bead and conform to ASTM E2430 or proponent specifications. Quality control auditing is provided by
QAI Burnaby BC. Polar is co-listee on BASF ESR-3463.

The physical properties and R-value performance of AccelerAged™ and AccelerAged™ GPS are
shown on the following pages.

Note: To calculate R-value* performance; multiply R/Inch by board thickness (in inches).
To calculate board thickness (in inches) needed to provide a specified R-value; divide
target R-value by R/Inch.
* For residential applications use R-value measured at 75°F.
