Latin America has suffered a lot over the years.

The people who live in these countries have seen

how our history, culture and customs are taken from us. The Spanish arrived first. But with the
passing of the years, Americans arrived from the United States. These Americans targeted the
misnamed "Indians." So, the American "conquerors" not only felt superior but now also believed
that they were sent from God. Likewise, they thought of "reforming" Latin America. But what
they were actually accomplishing was warping various cultures just by being the greatest power in
the world. All these "grafts" of religion, customs and languages generate confusion and loss of
identity. The Americans have been worse than the Spanish. At first they had the objective of
teaching their culture but it has been evident that they crossed the limits a long time ago. the
Americans have massacred almost an entire continent in order to fulfill their objective and impose
their regime. To this day they have not stopped subjugating, exploiting and condemning the
Latino people. In my opinion, with this reading it is possible to know a part of history that is
hidden behind a curtain of "aid" that would not be necessary if the United States had not been
present. I thank the author of the book for showing the other side of the Coin in our history,
because it is necessary to quote that famous phrase that says "Whoever does not know his history
is condemned to repeat it."
