INTRODUCTION TO SALES & MARKETING OPERATIONS

Sales and Marketing are two of the most important areas an organization focuses on in the pursuit of
generating revenue and attaining profit. This module allows the learner to understand each of these
separately as well as how both complement each other in the successful functioning of an
organization by looking into the various strategies and analytics involved.

This course has four critical learning outcomes:

LO1 Unit 1: Introduction to Sales Operation

Understand the process of sales operations of the organization and critically analyze the qualities
required for effective sales management.

LO2 Unit 2: Introduction to Marketing Operations

Understand the basic process involved in marketing operations and evaluate the best strategies used
for successful marketing performance.

LO3 Unit 3: Sales and Marketing Strategy

Critically evaluate the sales and marketing strategies and understand the process of aligning sales
and marketing strategies with organizational objectives for improved sales and marketing
performance

LO4 Unit 4: Marketing and Sales Analytics

Identify and analyze the various analytics supporting sales and marketing operations and understand
their use in measuring the effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns performed.
