Muskan Khurana of Model
Town in Panipat secured
the 98th rank in the exam.
Nidhi secured the 286th
rank in 2021 and tried to
improve her rank but could-
n’t succeed. Nidhi again
started preparing for the
exam and cracked it with
88th rank this time.
Mansi Dahiya of Sector 23
cracked the exam in her second
attempt and got the 178th rank.
Her father Karambir Singh
Dahiya is working in a multina-
tional company in Gurugram,
while her mother Radha Devi is
doing a job in Delhi.
In Panipat, Muskan Khu-
rana cleared the exam in her
third attempt and secured the
98th rank. I faced several chal-
lenges during the prepara-
tions, but finally achieved suc-
cess, said Muskan.

Muskan Dagar (23), a resi-
dent of Shelanga village
here, has secured the 72nd
rank in the civil services
examination. She cracked
the examination for the sec-
ond consecutive time. Earli-
er, she got the 474th rank
and joined the Indian Civil
Account Service (ICAS). Her
father is a farmer and moth-
er a homemaker. Muskan is
currently undergoing train-
ing in Faridabad.
“This time, Muskan was
quite confident about get-
ting rank in top 100 and
achieved her goal. My
daughter did self studies at
home in the village with the
help of the internet and kept
herself away from social
media,” said Vikas Dagar,
father of Muskan.
He maintained that
Muskan had been a meritori-
ous student from the school
time. She completed her
schooling from a private
school in Charkhi Dadri

The trigger was an ordi-
nance promulgated by the
Union government to nulli-
fy a ruling by a Supreme
Court Constitutional Bench
that handed over the reins
of “services” to the Delhi
government. The Govern-
ment of National Capital
Territory of Delhi (Amend-
ment) Ordinance, 2023, cre-
ated a National Capital Civ-
il Services Authority,
vested with the power to
recommend the posting
and transfer of all Group A
officers and officers of the
DANICS (Delhi, Andaman
& Nicobar, Lakshadweep,

if Kejriwal’s plight would res-

Kumar, JD(U) leader and
Bihar CM, reached out to
Kejriwal, promising soli-
darity in his fight against
the Centre along with
Tejashwi Yadav, Deputy CM
and RLD leader who is also
chairperson of Bihar’s

an unanticipated scale,
there are bridges to be
crossed before the Congress
can appropriate the position
of an equal challenger to the
BJP, which still views the
defeat in Bengaluru as an

like UPI and Aadhaar, it will
be due to its ambitious and
innovative design rather
than any government direc-

watch for the time being as it
seeks to evolve into a brave

Terror ecosystem dismantled

Manoj Sinha on Tuesday said

dismantled in J&K, which is
no longer land of hartal and
stone-pelting. After inaugu-

on the banks of Dal Lake,
Sinha said, “Schools and col-
leges remain open allowing
youth to focus on career
building. Today’s J&K is a
land of peace and prosperity.”
At least 46 foreign delegates
from 22 countries attended
the G20 meeting in Srinagar.
Also, seven delegates were
from international organisa-
tions, including one from
European Union.
Sinha said Prime Minister
Narendra Modi, through
development schemes, had
isolated the terror ecosystem
which thrived with the sup-
port from across the border.

the two strategic partners.

sulate would be opened soon in

The Islamabad High Court

NIA team in UK to
probe attack on
Indian Mission

Nearly two months after the
incident of vandalism at the
Indian High Commission in
London during a protest by pro-

al Investigation Agency (NIA)
has sent a five-member team to
the UK to probe the matter.
Sources said the team left for
London on Monday and this
was going to be the first time
that the agency sleuths would
be conducting a probe on the
British soil. The team has also
carried a list of Khalistani
links in the city, which they
may share with the authorities
there, the sources said.
