Crab
Did you know that Crabs can
live on land as long as they can
keep their gills moist.
Starfish
Did you know that the starfish
is the only animal that can
turn its stomach inside out!
Sea Urchin
Did you know that Sea urchin
have special type of mouth,
called ""Aristotle's lantern"".
Mouth is equipped with five
sharp teeth that are able to
drill a hole in the rock.
Eel
Did you know that Eels swim by
generating body waves which
travel the length of their
bodies. They can swim
backwards by reversing the
direction of the wave.
Sea Horse
Did you know that Sea Horse's
have a unique bony “crown" on
their heads called a coronet.
Like a fingerprint, the coronet
is distinct for each seahorse.
Narwhal
Did you know that the
narwhal’s tusk is really a
elongated front left tooth that
protrudes from the upper lip.
The right front tooth is small,
and usually remains in the
mouth.
Sea Cucumber

on coral reefs, one per square
meter on un-fished reefs.
Below 15,000 feet (the deep
sea), they make up 90 percent
of life on the seabed.
Jellyfish

half of their brain at a time.
While one half of the brain
stays awake to make sure the
whale breathes and alerts the
whale to any danger in its
environment.
Squid
Did you know that
The squid has eight arms, two
tentacles, and bulbous heads.
Their eyes can be as large as
a frisbee!
Dolphin
Did you know that
A dolphin's skin regenerates
every two hours and they are
also able to recognize
themselves in a mirror.
Manatee
Did you know that
Manatee's spend half their
days grazing on sea grass just
like cows do!
Blob Sculpin
Did you know that
Blob Sculpin's are not very
active and only move to open
their mouths when a source of
food approaches them.
Mantis Shrimp
Did you know that
Mantis Shrimp are not
technically shrimp and have
possibly the fastest punch
known to science.
Prawn

the prawn has five pairs of
legs. The three pairs at the
back are used for walking. The
front two pairs have claws
called pincers and are used for
catching food and eating.
Frogfish
Did you know that A frogfish’s
mouth can expand to 12 times
its resting size. This allows it to
catch many different sizes of
prey.
Horseshoe Crab
Did you know that Horseshoe
crabs are not actual crabs,
have multiple eyes and their
babies can swim upside down!
Barnacle
Did you know that Barnacle's
feed using 6 pairs of feather-
like feet called “cirri.”
The cirri are used, not only for
feeding, but also for breathing.
Quahog
Did you know that Quahog
qualifies as the longest-lived
animal species known to man.
Evidence indicates that this
species possesses an average
lifespan of roughly 225 years.
Walrus
Did you know that The walrus is
a fin-footed mammal, and is
related to seals and sea lions.
Their skin is protected by a
thin layer of small coarse hairs.
