III. RATIONALE:
In reference to DO 49, s. 2011”Mandated Programs, projects and Activities of the
Supreme Student Government (SSG), the SSG is the foremost co-curricular student
organization authorized to operate and implement pertinent programs, projects and activities
in school nationwide. It lays the groundwork for good governance, volunteerism, unity and
cooperation by providing the students various venues where the can improve their leadership
knowledge, skills and attitudes.
It trains students to become better members of society in accordance with the ideals
and principles of participatory democracy and good citizenship. More importantly, it helps the
Department of Education (DEPED) achieve its trust as indicated in the Education for all EFA
Goals, Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the Basic Education Social Reform
Agenda (BESRA).
In order to synchronize its program, projects and activities (PPAs), one of the following
are mandated to be implemented annually by the SSG is the Anti- Smoking & Tobacco
Free Seminar . Supreme Student Government adviser and officers in partnership with the
Sto. Tomas Barangay Officials, Sanguniang Kabataan and SADAC Club will conduct an Anti-
Smoking and Tobacco Free Seminar on November 22, 2019,(8:00-12:00) to assist in
ensuring that the school is a Smoke/Tobacco Free Place.

IV. OBJECTIVES

GENERAL OBJECTIVES: In general, Smoke/ Tobacco Free Place is to raise awareness and
understanding on the bad effects of smoking to our body. This activity aims to:
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
 Disseminate information about bad effects of smoking cigarettes in our health.
 Conduct information campaign through seminar about the ill effects of
cigarettes.

V. METHODOLOGY

The SSG adviser and officers planned on the different activities to be conducted. After
the date was unanimously agreed, this project proposal was prepared and will be submitted
to the school principal for approval.
Upon the approval of the school principal, the SSG officers, SADAC officers and other
concerned individuals will be informed for the different activities to be undertaken with
specific scheduled date.
Administrators, teachers, staff, students and other school stakeholders are
encouraged to join and participate in the activity.

III. RATIONALE:

information in order to provide safeguard against drug abuse through seminars/ symposia.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
 Disseminate information about bad effects of drugs in our health.
 Conduct information campaign through seminar about the effects of drugs.
 Disseminate the harmful effects of drinking alcohol.

ACCOMPLISHMENT REPPORT ON BOOK DRIVE


TUBA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
JULY 25, 2019

As stated in the Mandated Programs, Projects and Activities of the Supreme


Student Government (SSG). One of each is to “Strengthen the camaraderie between the school and the
community” to be implemented annually by the SSG in the school and community.
Thus, In support to the implementation, the Supreme Student Government Officers with the
guidance of their adviser and with the permission of the school head conduct the Book Drive Activity
on July 25, 2019, 10:00 A.M – 2:00 PM at Tuba National High School, Nangalisan Tuba Benguet.
The SSG president Dan Tonton, Vice President Lester Lee Lorenzo, Auditor Geraldine
Owayet and the grade 12 representative Ali Mark Tindo together with their very supportive adviser
ma’am Josephine Danis and with the able school head sir Danilo Gayao take part on the activity. Sir
Johnny Buasen allowed his car to be used in the activity. There are 400 books donated by Sto. Tomas
National High School to the beneficiaries of Tuba National High School and other beneficiaries of
Bukel Foundation.
The activity has made an impact to the SSG officers, it also enhanced their personal growth
and social responsibility.
