Important Notice

File No. HQ-PPII010(4)/4/2022-PP_II[Com No-1137] :-Staff Selection Commission had conducted

Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Tr anslator Examination, 2022 on
01.10.2022 in the Computer Based Mode and 3224 candidates were declared to be qualified for
appearing in Paper-II as per the result of Paper-I declared on 03.11.2022. The Commission would be
declaring the final result of this examination soon. Before the declaration of final result, Option-cum-
Preference is required to be submitted by those candidates who have appeared in Paper-II.
Accordingly, all candidates who have appeared in Paper-II are advised to submit their Option-cum-
Preference for Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Tr anslator Examination,
2022 through their respective ‘Candidate Login’ on the website of SSC (Headquarters) wherein a tab
for submission of Option-cum-Preference has been enabled. The tab shall remain active during the
period from 24.01.2023 to 29.01.2023 during which period the candidates can submit their Option-
cum-Preference.

2. Candidates may please note that the Option-cum-Preference can be revised only during the
aforesaid period when the tab shall remain active and Option-cum-Preference last submitted by the
candidate will be treated as final. Candidates who fail to exercise their Option-cum-Preference
during the aforesaid period, shall not be given any further opportunity for submission of their
Option-cum-Preference and such candidates will not be considered for inclusion in the final
merit list / final selection. Therefore, the candidates who have appeared in Paper-II are advised to
mandatorily exercise their Option-cum-Preference for consideration of their candidature in the final
merit list / final selection in Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator
Examination, 2022. It is reiterated that the Commission would not give any further opportunity for
exercise of Option-cum-Preference to the candidates beyond the dates mentioned above and no
representation in this regard sent through post, e-mail, fax, etc. shall be entertained.
