4 examples vehicles transportation in the Philippines

(Water)
1. Bangkas
are also referred to as pump boats. Bangkas are elevated water taxis
constructed of traditional building materials such as wood and bamboo.
They are surprisingly strong boats that can withstand some rough seas.
Bangkas are the cheapest mode of ferry transportation and are typically
used for short distances.
2. Roros
Roll On Roll Off ferries are large ferries that are especially useful if you
have a vehicle. These vessels do not require the use of a vehicle. These
ferries transport passengers over short to medium distances.
3. Fast crafts
These fast, air-conditioned vessels transport passengers between the
Philippines' larger islands. They are more expensive because they provide
faster travel and modern amenities.
4. Passenger liners
Long-distance routes around the islands are served by Passenger Liners.
They transport hundreds of passengers in the same way that airplanes do.
Lower Deck bunk accommodations are available as economy class tickets.
A first-class ticket entitles you to an air-conditioned stateroom. Economy
travel is fine as long as the ships are not overcrowded.

Advantages
1. Lower Maintenance Costs:
Rail and road transportation have high maintenance costs, but water
transportation has low maintenance costs.
2. Cheap:
When compared to rail and road transportation, the transport channel is
quite inexpensive.
3. Useful for Large Items:
Water transport can easily transport heavy and bulky goods at a low cost.
4. Useful in Natural Disasters:
When natural disasters such as floods and rains disrupt rail and road
transport, relief operations can be carried out via water transport.

5. Beneficial in Defense:
Shipping development is also critical for the country's defense. It is also
known as the second line of defense.

6. Important for International Trade:

Water transport is critical in international trade. Water transport is crucial
to Philippines foreign trade.

Disadvantages
1. Slow Motion:
It is a slow mode of transportation. When the monsoon fails, the water
level in rivers drops, making navigation difficult.

2. More Dangerous:
Water transport is more dangerous than other modes of transportation
because there is always the risk of sinking ships or boats.
