TOPIC: METHOD OF EFFICIENT GROUP WORK

1. Reason for choosing the topic:

Currently, all subjects and modules taught at Vinh University apply the CDIO
method. In the subject modules, students are:
+ Divided into small groups,
+ Choosed the topic of group activities
+ Worked in groups to discuss
+ Raised their personal views and opinions.
- However, as students learning by this method, we realize that group activities are
not really effective.
+ Students often only choose topics, then break them down individually to work
independently
+ Students are not allowed to give opinions, refute their friend’s opinions or argue
to come up with the most effective solution to the problem.
