1. The Schools Division of Roxas City will conduct a three-day “Pansangay na

Pagsasanay sa Bawat Bata Bumabasa on May 20, 27, and June 3, 2023 at Gerry
Roxas Foundation, Incorporated.

2. This training aims to enhance teachers’ competence on different teaching strategies

in teaching beginning reading, reading comprehension, and vocabulary development.

3. The participants of this training are all Grade 1 teachers of 41 schools of SDO
Roxas City.

4. School Heads are advised to monitor the attendance of their teachers.

5. Each participant is expected to comply and submit the required outputs and
complete attendance to avail of 3- day service credits in accordance with DepEd Order
No. 23, s. 2023 titled “Updated Guidelines on the grant of Vacation Service Credit for
Teachers. Non-teaching personnel shall be provided with Compensatory time-off (CTO)
for their services rendered during weekend and holidays per Civil Service Commission
(CSC) and department of Budget (DBM) Joint Circular No.2, s. 2004 on Non-
Renumeration for Overtime Service Rendered.

6. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
