ORDER: The following notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette:- NOTIFICATION The Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Fundamental Rules and the instructions thereunder. 2. The amendment hereby made shall come into force on 28.04.2015. AMENDMENT In the said Fundamental Rules, in rule 56, in sub-rule (1), after clause (c) and the instruction thereunder, the following ruling shall be added, namely:~ (P.T.O)2 “RULING. A Government servant, who has not been permitted to retire on his reaching the date of retirement, but retained in service under clause (c), shall not be dismissed or removed or compulsorily retired from service retrospectively from the date on which he reached the date of retirement.
