aims of the project. It is followed by an overview of relevant market information to

provide a broader context. Finally, the chapter analyzes the survey findings to offer

valuable insights into consumer preferences and behaviors within the specific target

market.

Project Description

Our project is focused on developing sweet potato pellets as a nutritious and

sustainable alternative feed for ornamental fish. We have combined sweet potato, fish

meal, eggs, multivitamins, garlic, and spirulina to create a complete and balanced diet

for ornamental fish. This project aims to address the challenge of providing a cost-

effective and balanced diet for ornamental fish, which is essential for their growth,

health, and appearance. The high cost of quality fish feed is a significant obstacle facing

the ornamental fish industry. As a potential solution, this project proposes the use of

sweet potatoes as a feed ingredient for ornamental fish. Sweet potatoes are rich in

essential nutrients such as carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals that can promote

growth and health in fish.
