This pandemic has compelled all nursing instructors have to become more

creative in their approaches. Owing to various online platforms, the lecture portion of

courses has become easier to adapt. Skills, on the other hand, are one aspect of the

courses that has required instructors to think outside the box at times. Although there

are many ways to teach skills, trying to keep it as close to normal as possible has

proven to be effective for both the instructors' sanity and the benefit of the students.

Live-online instruction is a collaborative effort that can be extremely rewarding for

students. For this process to be effective, a plan in place ahead of time must be there.

Several minor supplies, meeting times, and time for discussion too are required. Video

resources can also be used to supplement the online skill demonstration. These videos

are being created by faculty members or from resources such as those found in the

students' textbooks. The important factor is for instructors to watch the videos to ensure

they understand what they are teaching. (Williams, 2021).
